Yes, we offer seasonal packages. We also offer discounts for active or retired military and veterans.  A copy of a DD214 indicating an honorable discharge, active or retired military ID or VA health card is required as proof of service. The reservation must also be in the name of the military member or veteran. Please contact us for more information.

The nearest airport is the Greenbrier Valley Airport, which is approximately 24 miles away from our The Alderson Inn.

 A - Pets are prohibited at The Alderson Inn.  Special arrangements can be made for ADA-compliant service animals.  

 A - Yes! We can accommodate families of all ages and sizes. We also provide a plethora of books, puzzles, and games to keep families occupied while enjoying their stay.  

 A - The Alderson Inn has 4 principal guest rooms that sleep a range of 2-4 people per room. Additional rollaway beds that sleep 1, can be provided for a nominal fee. The Inn also offers an "add-on" room called the "Side Car." This room has a full-sized bed, desk, dresser, and seating area. It does not come with access to a private bathroom. Guests that stay in the "Side Car" are assigned to your other reserved room's bathroom. This room is perfect for teenagers or other relatives in your party. If you are interested in adding the "Side Car" to your reservation please let us know at the time of your booking.

 A - No. Each room is assigned a private bathroom.  Two of our rooms have attached (en suite) bathrooms.  Our other two rooms have detached bathrooms that are located across the hall from the room. A bathroom is specially assigned to the rented room.  No unrelated guests will have access to your assigned bathroom.  

 A - We do not enter your room once you are checked in.  Towels are refreshed upon request. Due to conservation efforts, bed linens are not changed during your stay unless specifically requested or every seven days for long stays.  

 A - Standard check in is 3:00PM and check out is 11:00AM.

 A- Yes, we do require ID for your stay.  This is required for the person making the reservation to ensure the safety of our staff and guests and to ensure the validity of the payment method. You may text or email a photo of your government issued ID, driver's license, or passport. 

 A- The minimum age to stay at the inn alone is 21 years old. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by the primary guest meeting the age requirement.
